Huzzaaah! We’ve Got Bonuses!

You asked for it; you’ve got it! For a limited time only, we’ve introduced a fancy and highly-desireable set of four game-changing Bonuses (the items formerly known as Power-Ups) for your Empire Avenue enjoyment.

Starting right now, these Bonuses are available for purchase in the Shop. You will be able to buy them until 12am Feb 15th GMT, when they will expire.

Each Bonus will modify and enhance certain aspects of Empire Avenue for a set period of time or a specific number of uses. Some Bonuses have variable pricing, based on a number of factors including the buyer’s account status or value. Carefully read the description text of each item and be sure you understand how it will impact your gameplay BEFORE you purchase the Bonuses.

  1. Hi Kevin,

We’ve just checked it it appears to be working fine.

Sorry if the text wasn’t clear, but when you buy the Bonus, it eliminates any commission charged to people who buy shares in you. It isn’t intended to eliminate any commission charged to you when buying shares in others.

  2. Stefan, that page shows what you have and can be sold back to us, if you choose. It does not show the entire suite of Luxury Items that were once available.

Liz, The Bank Bonus is meant to be a benefit to new and average members. If your wealth exceeds 10m, you’re likely above average 😉

  3. David, the commission is the part of the transaction that normally goes to Empire Avenue. When the Me-Fee-Free is active, that commission is not charged to the purchaser. All other aspects of the transaction remain the same — so yes, you will still receive any funds that are owning you from the transaction. Remember, there are cases when someone buys your shares, but you would receive no funds: http://www.empireavenue.com/help/faqview?faq_id=2#23

  5. Brad, I think there are problems on my end as well (I’m also seeing what David is seeing). On top of this, I’ve heard of dividends being distributed around off of accounts such as e(Nokia) via the Dilbert Wealth Distriubtions but I haven’t seen a thing on my account. The same goes for the Golden Ticket. In fact, I haven’t had any notification pop-ups when first logging on for a while now… Just thought I’d share. 🙂
