Time Management Techniques – Which is Right for You?

Once you have squandered your time, you cannot regain it, that’s why so many people are searching for a time management system that’s just right for them – systems to make them more productive. As a ghost blogger, who blogs about work and career, I am always looking for topics to blog about, and time management is one that I cover for my client. Additionally, I read a lot, because that’s one of the ways that I generate topics to write about, therefore, I often come across articles on time management. Over the past few months, I have noticed a spike in the number of articles on time management, which may be an indicator that people are so stressed that they are looking for techniques to manage their time more effectively.O

It can be lonely in the crowd cloud, so find friends on #EmpireKred

Especially when you’re not the noisiest of people.

And there is a lot of noise on the internet.

Many internet users lurk, staying in the background reading and viewing content, but never actually saying anything themselves or commenting. I suppose it’s because, as in real life, loud people can intimidate quieter ones and some people don’t have the confidence to speak.

I’m quiet, but I’m also confident to speak when I want to. Also, I don’t want to waste my time or energy on the petty squabbles that we see grow into massive, pointless online arguments. I’m a doer, rather than a talker and much prefer action to meetings and discussions.

Why Invest in the Social Stock Market? #EmpireKred #BlogAThon Entry EKB16

Why Invest in the Social Stock Market?

What if Social Capital could be evaluated, purchased, and leveraged? “Influencer Marketing” is a hot topic today, but networking (leveraging trust and influence) has been around since tribal chiefs negotiated around campfires. One of the best kept “secrets” among social networks is Empire.Kred .

Connect with “Connectors.”

The social network “Empire Avenue” was recently purchased by the Klout competitorKred. The “Empire” is not only a social network like Linkedin, but it also includes a “stock market” for social capital. The value of a member’s shares is largely determined by influence on other social media, as well as engagement with others.

I am beginning to explore how to create a new Brand  via social media.   I have a couple of outlets for my digital artwork on Zazzle, Blogger and Typepad.  Each of them uses the name “Sweet Sticky Rainbow”.  I am exploring how to use social media and blogging websites such as Hubpages, Twitter and Facebook to get my Brand known through the blogosphere and on the Interwebs.  I am also using thsi blog posting  to enter a competition on a social media Gamer site called Empire.Kred.

Can Empire.Kred Help Virtual World Content Creators? #EmpireKred #BlogAThon Entry EKB13

Empire.Kred is a social media scoring engine with a gamification twist. If you are unfamiliar with social media scoring systems, Klout is probably the industry standard. These scoring engines use enormous databases of social media participants and a variety of algorithms to arrive at scores that users can then use to compare their social media performance against other folks overall and in their sectors of influence. Kred is an Australian based competitor of Klout. In 2015, Kred acquired a smaller social media scoring engine called Empire Avenue. The Empire Avenue gaming format has been retained by Kred and I’d like virtual world content creators to take a look.

EmpireKred has gamified social media scoring by twisting in a replicated stock market. Players earn game currency called Eaves (much like a Linden Dollar but with no cash value)from dividend income created by investments that they make in the stock portfolios of the other players. Participants then continue to increase wealth by reinvesting their earnings in the membership or by spending their profits on a product called missions. Missions are a request that other players will visit your website, blog, g+, Youtube, flickr, instagram, pinterest, etc, and interact with likes, comments, votes, retweets, etc, when they visit your destination. You create a mission by spending some of yours Eavs and publishing a description of what you’d like the other members to do. These players then earn their Eav reward by accepting your mission with a click that sends them to whatever it is that you want them to see.

How To Get Started On Empire Kred #EmpireKred #BlogAThon Entry EKB08

Buy Hold And Sell Keys Representing Market Strategy

Buy Hold And Sell Keys Representing Market Strategy

It was almost four years ago on January 12, 2012 when I took the plunge onto Empire Kred (formerly Empire Avenue) and created the HairBoutique ticker.

Unfortunately I learned how to get started on Empire Kred (EK) only after I’d already made just about every mistake in the book.

Note:  EmpireKred (formerly Empire Avenue) is a stock market simulation social network game that allows users to buy and sell shares of people and websites.

Rather then bore you with a goody-two shoes rendition of how to get started and follow the Dale Carnegie words of “win friends and influence people” I’m going to own up to all my horrible, no good, very bad decisions which almost tanked me completely on Empire Kred.

How Empire.Kred increased my Klout score

How do you measure whether someone understands how use Social Media? While there are a few ways you could do that .Kred and Klout are the best platforms which measure your influence and impact on Social Media at the moment. Neither is perfect. I want to share with you how “playing a game” called Empire.Kred has spilled over and affected my Social Media engagement in a positive way.

Kred has always been transparent about how it measures influence and uses two measurements, one to show your impact and the other to show how generous you are to other people by liking, sharing and retweeting their content. I wrote a blog post about Kred a few years ago explaining how Kred measurement worked and what it meant:
